LATEST ACTIVITIES
I have volunteered in various associations and tried to help and learn at the same time while I have been an AIESEC member since 2010. In AIESEC, I had the chance to try and experience many different projects. I was able to work on my creativity and also I had the chance to improve my English and Korean which I learned on my own. I am always eager to try new things and making mistakes does not demotivate me but my mistakes make me more passionate because I will not do the same mistake but will be more cautious this time.
I believe in the old saying "Where there is a will, there is a way." This proverb makes me keep on trying until I achieve my goals.
AIESEC INTERNSHIP|South Korea
I have been on an internship in Cheongju, South Korea as an English Teacher in Doran Doran Regional Children Center that is located in the Danyang district. I have 30 students between the ages of 8-11. Since I have been learning Korean for over a year now, I've got the chance to practice my Korean since no one around me really spoke English.
I have attended to many different activities so thanks to my friends and colleagues. I have given swimming lessons, attended a Korean yoga class and even took an extra role in an old Theatre show and met lots of people there.
So even though it was a 3 months internship, I have gained a lot of friends, unforgivable experiences and the most valuable memories.

Project I
Project | Global Villages
During my term as Vice President of Projects in AIESEC Kocaeli, I have managed many Global Villages which has the mission of creating an environment for our international volunteers to share their own cultures with the people of Kocaeli in different sides of the city.
Project II
Project | BusinessMen Talk
I was able to organize this project as a new idea in AIESEC Turkey for the first time in 2012. The project was organized with Business Chambers and Associations in Kocaeli. International interns and Businessmen in Kocaeli were working together in the project to share cultures, practice English and exchanges ideas of the economy in Turkey.
The project has exchanged more than 50 interns and raised more than 10.000 liras until today.
Volunteer English Teacher
Volunteer English Teacher
I volunteered as an English Teacher for High School and higher levels in Turkish Educational Volunteers Association for 6 months. I gave lessons at the weekend for 16 high school students and adults who wish to attend.
I was able to use my knowledge about teaching which I have gained in AIESEC. And I was also able to use my creativity and make different presentations to keep students interest higher in English.
Project III
Project |Dream Together
In my first year in AIESEC, I have been the Team Leader of Dream Together Project which was being organized for the first time in AIESEC Turkey. The project was organized in the Orphanage in Kocaeli/Turkey with the vision of being a motivation and cultural bridge between 80 orphan children and 21 international volunteers from 19 different countries.
I was not the one creating the project but I was the first one to organize it and this helped me put my ideas in this project as its leader.
Working in an international environment while trying to make the project compatible with its stakeholders at the same time helped me shape my own leadership style. I realized the needs of the project, its weaknesses and how teamwork and spirit can upgrade a project.
My AIESEC Life
In AIESEC I have managed many teams and been a part of a team many times.
I had positions which I have given facilitations to internationals. I have been a part of many different projects that included Municipalities, Business Associations, Universities, companies, volunteers, rehabilitation centers, orphan villages and many more as stakeholders.
I am proud to say that I am an AIESEC'er! Because being a part of something so big and powerful is a priceless experience.
